Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation Policy  

Clients of The Roofing and Fascia Company are entitled to cancel any scheduled works within 14 days after the contract is made. Cancellation is only effective if the communication is sent to The Roofing and Fascia Company before the end of the cancellation period. 
 
If you were to exercise your right to cancel, The Roofing and Fascia Company will reimburse any deposits or payments you have made prior to cancellation. 
 
Should you decide to withdraw from the contact after this 14-day period, it will be at our discretion if we are to reimburse deposits or payments. 
 
If you are looking to cancel your contract with The Roofing and Fascia Company, please let us know with a clear statement to inform us, alternatively, we can send you a cancellation form with the appropriate details to fill in, which will need to be printed and returned to us as soon as possible. 
 
If you would like to move or postpone your appointment, this is no issue, however, it will be your responsibility to make us aware in written format on paper or in an email. 
 
Works can be started within the 14- day cancellation period, if specifically requested by yourself, this may be for urgent repairs or maintenance. 
 
If you schedule work with The Roofing and Fascia Company within the cancellation period, you are not entitled to cancel if and once the work/service is fully completed. 
No deposits will be refunded, additionally, you will have to pay in full what is initially agreed in your contract. 
 
You can still cancel scheduled works if they have not begun at all before the 14-day cancellation period is over. 
 
If the service/works has started, but is not fully completed, you do have the right to cancel, however, you will have to pay for the service used during the time up to when you have informed us of your decision to cancel. This will be determined based on labour and material costs.

The Roofing and Fascia Company always endeavours to provide the best service. However, on rare occasions there may be times where a customer may not be completely satisfied. 
 
To ensure the business can put things right for you, as soon as possible after the completion of the works, please inspect the work to ensure everything has been carried out based on the contract terms and to the high standards the business aims to achieve. 
 
Please contact the business straight away with any concerns either by phone, email or write to us. If writing, get proof of posting. 
 
Business Complaint Procedure 
On receipt of your complaint the business aims to respond within 5 days. 
 
The Roofing and Fascia Company will arrange a convenient date to come and view and/or remedy the situation within 28 days. 
 
In the unlikely event The Roofing and Fascia Company is unable to resolve your complaint having exhausted the business complaints procedure, it may be necessary to use another complaint service. Where The Roofing and Fascia Company cannot resolve the complaint to your satisfaction and/or agree to the final resolution requests confirmed to us; and both parties agree a ‘deadlock’ has been reached, you can then escalate your complaint. 
 
The Roofing and Fascia Company has access to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service for our domestic installation, service, repair and maintenance contracts as part of the Which? Trusted Traders Endorsement. If you choose to you can refer your complaint to Which? Trusted Traders’ Alternative Dispute Resolution. You will need to contact Which? Trusted Traders on 02922 670 040 who can explain if you are eligible to use their Alternative Dispute Resolution.
